There are a lot of exciting things happening within the Cadillac brand these days, and certainly the Cadillac Blackwing models are near the top of that list. These 2022 model-year Blackwing models, including the 2022 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing and 2022 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing, will be the last gas-powered vehicles in the V-Series lineup.
However, as the automaker shifts to more electric models, they’re leaving with an absolute bang with two awesome and powerful cars.
Cadillac Blackwing Drivetrains
Car and Driver calls this latest iteration of Cadillac V-Series vehicles, “The most track-capable V models ever,” and it’s not hard to see why. The 2022 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing boasts a twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter V6 engine capable of producing upwards of 472 hp and 445 lb-ft of torque, while the 2022 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing is slated to generate an impressive 668 hp from its supercharged 6.8-liter V8. In other words, both are incredibly powerful automobiles that drivers in and around Wilkes-Barre, PA are going to absolutely love.
Mated with a 10-speed automatic transmission, the Cadillac CT5-V will be able to rocket from zero-to-60 mph in just 3.7 seconds. These models really are the peak of Cadillac performance.
Test-Driving the Cadillac Blackwing Models
While we do not yet have access to these vehicles, we do expect them to find their way to your Cadillac dealer in PA over the course of the next few months. If there was ever a car to test-drive, this would be one worth your time and energy. While there are many great reasons to invest in these vehicles, from technological features to lavish interiors, it’s the performance that grabs the headlines in this case!
